North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF)

The North American Thrombosis Forum is dedicated to saving lives through education and prevention. A major part of this is helping healthcare professionals stay up-to-date on the latest research in the rapidly changing field of thrombosis. Through educational events and informative articles geared specifically towards clinicians, NATF provides clinicians with the information they need to best treat their patients. Topics covered include thrombosis, stroke prevention, atrial fibrillation, diabetes, cardiovascular-related illnesses, and more. Infection Prevention 101 for Public Spaces

Infection Prevention 101 for Public Spaces educates participants on how infections are spread through public spaces and provides knowledge on how to clean and disinfect to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in public spaces.

Following successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

  1. Understand how infections are spread in public spaces. 
  2. Describe how cleaning and disinfection can prevent the spread of infectious diseases. 
  3. Identify and use effective cleaning and disinfection practices to prevent infections. 
  4. Develop and improve a cleaning and sanitation plan for your employer to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

STRIVE Infection Control Training

The CDC/STRIVE curriculum was developed by national infection prevention experts led by the Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET) for CDC. Courses address both the technical and foundational elements of healthcare-associated infection (HAI) prevention. Courses can be taken in any order. Each course has 1 or more modules. Individual modules can be used for; new employee training, annual infection prevention training, and/or periodic training.
